Blossom Books is an independent bookshop and personal shopping services based in Sleman, Yogyakarta (we are not an official publisher retailer). As we are primarily a one-person team, order recaps and packing may occasionally take extra time. We appreciate your patience!

• Pre-orders with catalogue are placed through Order Form, while others are placed via WhatsApp.
• Kindly wait patiently after sending us a message. We receive a high volume of chats and always reply from bottom to top. Please avoid double-texting/spamming as it will push your chat to the top and delay our response. You may re-chat us if there is no response within 2x24 hours.
• Prices listed in our catalogue are in IDR and are valid at publication. Prices may change without prior notice due to currency exchange rates, shipping costs, or publisher updates.
• Most of our books are sourced internationally, meaning Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) are estimates and shipping delays can occur beyond our control. However, if your book experiences a delay of more than 6 months, you may request a refund. For urgent needs, we recommend purchasing from a local store.
• Some books may arrive with minor imperfections (slight cover dents, minor scratches, etc.) due to the nature of international shipping and packaging. Please consider this before ordering if you are sensitive to book conditions.
• Ordering from Blossom Books requires patience. Most of our services involve international sourcing, pre-orders, and cargo shipping which naturally take time.

Open Batch & ETA

US batches open approximately every month, and UK batches open every 2-3 months. ETA: 1-2 months via air cargo or 3-5 months via sea cargo after the batch closes. Prices are subject to change without further notices due to currency exchange rates, shipping costs, or publisher updates.

Down Payment & Availability

A 35% DP from the total price is required to secure your order. The remaining balance is due upon arrival notification. Available titles and prices are listed in our catalogue. You may request aprice checkfor unlisted titles. A book listed as available may go out of stock without prior notice. If this happens, your order will be moved to the next batch or cancelled (DP refunded).

Hachette, Penguin Random House, & Harper Collins

Availability and pricing will be informed once new titles arrive. Orders are placed directly with publishers.

Waterstones & The Works

Availability and final price will be confirmed after you send us the direct link. For The Works, availability depends on stock at our partner's nearest UK store. You may submit a wishlist with a DP. If not found within one month, DP will be refunded.

Vinted & 66books

Vinted books are secondhand (expect imperfections). Pricing starts at IDR 100K/book subject to weight and UK local shipping. We recommend buying bundles (5-10 books) at GBP 2-5 total to make it worthwhile. 66books provides new but remainder books (running stock). Wishlist with DP applies.

Note: UK Direct PO books are generally not wrapped in plastic sleeves. Let us know in advance if required.

ETA: 2-3 weeks after the open order ends.

Payment: Full payment only, no keep. Payment is due within 2x24 hours of order confirmation or the book will be offered to the next buyer.

Availability: Available titles can be checked in our catalogue to be ordered directly, or in some cases will be shared in our WhatsApp group. Titles cannot be requested and books will be secured on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rules & Order Format

• To order books that are shared in WhatsApp, reply "fix" directly to the photo of the book you want in the group.
• Replying "fix" means you are strictly committed to purchasing. Cancelling your order and unsending a "fix" message will result in a blacklist.
• Transferring secured books are allowed only after the open order session has officially closed and it must be done privately. The original claimant MUST confirm the transfer directly to the admin.

Special Edition Book Subscription

Orders placed as long as pre-order is open. ETA 1-2 months via air cargo. 50% DP required. Send us the title and edition via WhatsApp or Instagram DM.

Jastip BBW & Periplus Sale

Full payment is due within 1x12 hours of confirmation. No cancellations after a book is secured. Titles posted to WhatsApp Channel during event.

Note: Please expect minor defects (broken seals, slight yellowing) common with sale books. We will pick the best available copy.

Payments

• Payments are to be made only via BCA (8467145384) or ShopeePay (082322796274) in the name ofSiska Sekar K.
• Payment confirmation (screenshot) must be sent via WhatsApp. Orders are processed after payment is confirmed.
• Remaining balance must be paid within 3x24 hours of arrival notification. Failure to pay may result in cancellation and forfeiture of DP.
• Please do not submit an order form if you do not intend to pay. Submitting manipulated or fake payment proofs is a fraudulent act. Anyone caught doing so, or committing a hit-and-run, will be permanently blacklisted and their details will be shared within our community to protect other sellers.

Cancellations

• Once a PO batch is closed and DP paid (or for ready stocks, once the books are secured), orders cannot be cancelled. Cancellations are only accepted if the book does not arrive at our end (DP fully refunded).
• If a customer cancels without reason after confirmation, Blossom Books reserves the right to retain the book and DP. Additionally, customers who cancel without a valid reason or fail to respond after two billing reminders will be categorized as a hit and run, and will be blacklisted from placing future orders.
• Any refunds issued for out-of-stock items, cancellations from our end, or eligible 6-month delays will be processed within 5-7 business days.

Domestic Shipping

All books will be shipped from Sleman, Yogyakarta.

• Manual: Recommended. Shipping costs fully paid by customer.
• Shopee Checkout: Customer checks out nominal amount, full price paid via BCA/Spay. After completion, nominal amount is refunded minus admin fee (20% + Rp1.250).
• Returned Packages: If a package is returned to us by the courier due to an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the buyer, or failure to receive the package, the buyer is responsible for paying the shipping fee again for the second delivery attempt.
• Maximum Keep Period: Once your books arrive at our warehouse, you may only keep them with us for a maximum of 1 month (e.g., if you are waiting to combine shipping with another batch). After 1 month has passed, the books must be shipped to you immediately.

Blossom Books is NOT responsible for books lost or damaged during transit when using Shopee shipping. Compensation is limited to the nominal amount checked out.

Returns & Complaints

• Books are non-returnable unless there is a printing defect that is considered unreadable (e.g., missing/lost pages, severely torn pages) or if the wrong title was sent.
• Most imported books arrive unsealed. Minor damages (small dents, scratches, shelf wear) are normal. especially for UK Direct PO / The Works where we cannot handpick the perfect copy.
• Book damage during local or international transit is not Blossom Books' responsibility. We are not responsible for dents caused by the publisher, international cargo, or domestic third-party couriers.
• Complaints must be submitted within 2x24 hours of receiving your order with photo/video evidence. We kindly ask that all complaints be communicated and resolved privately through our WhatsApp so we can assist you directly and fairly.
